The sign does say - "Have a look". Are there that many English speakers traveling through the alley way?

I like both photos. The painter looks very relaxed in the photo. The man with the baskets is avoiding eye contact for sure.

Breathtaking photos, thank you so much for sharing

Your photography is fantastic.

And the choice of camera just makes me lust even more for it, despite its incredible rarity and price.

Amazing clarity and color saturation from the Apo Lanthar. And great photography skills and composition from the users. Thanks for sharing. Those pictures were excellent.

I happen to have a BessaII Heliar. But never use it due to bellow light leakage. Any idea where i can have it CLA in Asia?

Thanks very much!

Hi Da,

Thanks for reply.

The Holes are too many to repair using black tape. Most of the corners have holes due to aging. I need to change the whole bellow and CLA the camera completely. The leatherette needs to be change also. Is there a Master in Bessa II repair? I'm located in Malaysia Asia.

Once again, your pictures are very nice. Do you have a personal Blog or Website or facebook ?

Hi Alfcnka.I suggest you use black tape repair. In Beijing, I estimate that 20 ro 30 dollars can change the new.

Hi,

There are currently quite a few Bessa II camera's on eBay. Some are Heliar, Color Skopar, and one Apo Lanthar ($8000)... that's right ... $7995 to be exact... starting bid

Very nice images of China. Looks like a beautiful place. I like the fact that you actually put this camera to good use instead of keeping it in a closet and treating it like a collector's item. The crispness and saturation of the Apo Lanthar reminds of Leica M glass. In medium format that's a powerful combination.
