Why yes Ma'am - it folds
Where did you get that grip made? Looks really neat and I bet it makes handling a folder a tad easier.

wow, no wonder these pics looks so nice on the screen...i have scanner envy![]()
I think it is mainly the default 150% sharpening in that scannner what you see. You have to set the sharpening back in minus territory to get the real scan.
That said, good editing on an image isn't taboo. And a good job has been done here.
With Vuescan it must be possible to add an Exif that reads Bessa II 1956, Apo Lanthar

Can't really complain about the Industar either.

Scanned on a Nikon 8000, no noise reduction, 400 ISO Portra. The Monitor has less contrast but is very sharp too. Main problem with that one is the film flatness of a 620 camera converted to 120.

I have one w/ the lowly Color Heliar. Perhaps the Lanthar is sharper? Wow. What film are you using there? Great shots. I love Voigtlander's 6x4.5 mask on the viewfinder. Utter simplicity.
Film is specified for each photo.
There is a Bessa II/Heliar for sale right here. I wonder if the Heliar is better (more flattering) for portraits close to wide open. I know many folks who use Heliars on large format cameras for that purpose.

Wow, the Bessa II with Apo-Lanthar is indeed a superb camera, but the camera is nothing without the photographer. Thanks for sharing!
My own Bessa II with Apo-Lanthar is getting a CLA now. Although it's in a superb condition I really wanted to have it serviced. I would not want to drive a car that had not been used since 1956, without service first, so I suppose the same goes for cameras

I must admit that I have seen the pictures before, on a Chinese website I think, when I was searching for sample photos. Again, these are excellent!
