Hello, I have the Nokton 40/1.4 (Leica M mount) but my voigtlander rf has a problem right now and I don't know when/if it will be fixed.

Until then,
is there any adapter so that I can put my Nokton to a slr? What I want is to, somehow, use my nokton to some cheap (~30-50€) old slr until I fix my rf or until I buy a new rf.

I googled it and I didn't find anything, but before I quit I thought it'd be a good idea to ask you guys if you know something.

Thanks

ps. A good solution would be to put it to a screw mount fed rf or something, but I think I read somewhere that there isn't such thing as M to screw adapter. Only screw to M.

Welcome.

Won't work, unfortunately, the M registration distance is shorter than any 35mm SLR that I know off.

The cheapest M camera you could get in the mean-time would be a Bessa T. A good camera.

Roland.

Can't be done. The flange distance of M lenses is about 27.9mm, far less than most SLRs. So even if you could mount it, your lens would only focus very close - almost close to life size.
