These were shot @ 1.2 from a M8. Uv/Ir filter and lens is coded. It's my favorite lens on the M8.

I use the M-Coder from matchtechnical.com. I code it as a 1994-2004 Summilux 1.4. the M-coder uses a black felt pen 0X0XXX0 X is black, o is blank. There is a screw under one of the black marks so every 10-15 times you mount the lens you need to re-mark it. No big deal. the m-coder is easy to use. The camera will not register 1.2 since the Summilux only goes to1.4. I don't think this is a big deal. Also I use a B&W filter, not the Leica brand (cheaper). Set the camera to lens recognition/UVIR. Works great! I have 6 lenses coded this way.

Don't know how I missed this in the last several days but it is pure magic, I give it my highest compliment: I wish I had shot this! Kristian, this is a keeper.

Thanks JSU. Just wish I still had the lens. Was a keeper, just couldn't financially manage the concept after acquiring the 0.95 :bang:

Did the beautiful girlfriend come with the lens? I'm thinking I might get one (the lens, that is, my lovely wife wouldn't appreciate the girlfriend).

It is my understanding that beautiful people are attracted to people who appreciate beauty.

papasnap, I really dig the colors in your photos.
michael, that last shot is tremendous! the over-exposure really ads punch and works well.
*I am very enthusiastic about these shots (and the lens) if you cannot already tell...
