Looks like a match made in heaven, but Nikon does make the 50mm f/0.95 Noct—at about five times the price and four times the size of the Voigtlander f/1.0 Nokton. I's certainly pick the Nokon if I was in the market for such a lens.
The Z platform is exceptionally adaptable to even the early CV film Voigtländer lenses.
My first generation 12mm is absolutely useable on my Z6ii and I see no real difference when using an adapted Voigtlander 21mm/4.0 v.1 versus a Nikkor 20mm/3.5 Ai.
I don't think the Z system gets the credit it deserves as a platform for adapted lenses. Not that I have tried all, but it is far ahead of anything Sony I have tried, and on par with Leica SL, IMO.
Except it is a 58mm ;-)
Why is the adapter called a close-up adapter? Does this mean that regular photos cannot be made?
That adapter has a built in helical.
Turn the adapter for closer focusing, or get infinity at regular position.
Conveniently the adapted lens does not turn as the adapter focuses closer.
Raid, if you mean for putting M lenses on M cameras, there is. Leica makes one that came out with the revised 90/4 Macro Elmar during the time of the M240. It's called the Macro Adapter M and has a helical. You have to use it with live view.
