Just received my "new" black Nokton Classic, wasp waist version.

I developed the test film and unfortunately all the pics are pretty prosaic, not at the level of the luscious B&W I see here, however this is my contribution to this thread:

Very nice lens for portraits but a little hard to nail focus at wide apertures on moving subjects. Not a fault of the lens, just true of all manual focus lenses.

Handles mixed light sources well, as here with daylight coming in the window with a little green tinge probably from the porch paint and greenery of the lawn and trees, plus golden incandescent from the lamp on the desk behind her head and finally a little flash fill.

Same lens, just achieved focus on eyes a little better. I like the way this lens renders skin -- detailed but not too harsh or analytical. No retouching except for one tiny blemish removal.

Maybe my first photo with this very nice lens. Wanted to see how it worked in a backlit situation with all natural light, no fill.

I'm really curious to know what the new version will be like.
