I see a short blurb on Leicarumors about a November release of a CV Nokton Vintage line 35 f1.5 lens in either type I or II versions. Anyone have any more information on this? Definitely intriguing to me as an alternative to the Nokton 35/1.4, depending on size and performance.

I recently bought the CV 35mm f1.5. Still playing with it but here are some shots. Most are significantly cropped so you won’t be able to judge edge sharpness etc.

I love this lens. It's sharp, small, has very low distortion and the out-of-focus draw is wonderfully pleasant. Also, the tab is the right size (bigger than the 35/1.4 Nokton) and the lens looks beautiul with an after-market square hood.

The bokeh is really smooth but not oddly hazy like some Voigtlanders. I think I prefer this rendering to the much older f1.4 Nokton.
