Voigtlander shop in central London?

Hi,

is anyone aware of a photo shop in central london selling voigtlaender bessas? I will be in London around the Easter weekend and might want to shop around a bit. A shop with a webpage would be even better so I could check out prices in advance 😉.

I don't know if they still stock CV kit but The Classic Camera shop did used to. They are primarily Leica dealers but did carry a good range of ZI and CV.

Classic Camera generally have a few bits and pieces in but nowadays most of their CV stuff is to order. Jacobs in New Oxford Street generally have a small selection, but not always. I think the only place in the UK carrying the full range of stock is Robert White.

www.ffordes.co.uk stock a lot of CV stuff too - some of it is cheaper some more expensive.

Robert White is a couple of hours outside London, and it may be best to check they're open on the day you're planning to visit.

Unfortunately, the UK is rarely a cheap place to buy anything.

As for the Bessas the following very rough rule seems to hold: new ones cost about the same amount in $ (US), Pounds (GB), Euros (Gemany and Austria).
Therefore they are cheapest in the US, next is Germany and Austria (rest of continental Europe) and they seem to be really expensive in GB....

Yup. Same holds for a lot of other stuff too 🙁

You might also try http://www.apertureuk.com/ since they are in central London, but I don't know if they are actually CV dealers. They do however seem to have some used stock if you are interested in that.
