I returned on October 11 from a week-long photo workshop in Venice, where I used the version I CV Ultron 35/2.0 almost exclusively (on an M-E Type 240). I have to say I was very pleased with how the lens handled as well as with the results. Here are a few sample images…

The lens also seems to behave well with urban landscape/architectural scenes…

Well I got one!
Though I've had some minty lenses cross my path, I believe this is the first brand new lens I've ever purchased.
I'm really liking the rendition. The contrast is well-balanced with plenty of pop (especially bringing out details in low light) but it's not stark or excessively brutal in bright sunlight. This is on B/W film.
I bought it mostly for shooting color slide film but I haven't processed anything yet.
It goes without saying the sharpness is perfect.
The .58m minimum focus distance does give me a bit of heartburn, I guess due to the extremely short throw since my main 50, the Nikkor 50/1,4 LTM, never bothered me. On the other hand, the black Ultron V2 looks very 'at home' on the Hexar RF. Even better than Konica's own lenses.
I'll try to post something soon.
+1!! On the strength of the photos and comments in the first ten pages of this thread, I bought the first version of the Vintage Line Ultron 35 (the one with the focusing stick) in September 2020. I don’t buy many lenses new, but this one I did. I have to say that I have not regretted the purchase at all. The lens has been a great performer in every respect, although I have yet to shoot it on film (will get to that in 2022). It’s been my go-to 35 lens since I purchased it, and I can’t imagine using any other M-mount 35 for street photography (I have a Canon 35mm f2.0 for LTM). Totally happy with this lens. I hope you post some pics with your new lens soon.

The swirl is good. The swirl is beautiful. Thank god for the swirl...the wide-open draw is distinctive and kind of ugly, but also characterful and beautiful. I have a Sigma 35mm Art in F-mount. It is a giant very well corrected lens. It isn't without its merits...but it doesn't have the kind of wonderful, overt signature of this tiny gem.

The more I use this lens the more the tones remind me of the Biogon 35mm f/2. In a good way, of course.
