Does anyone experience focus shift with this lens? I would consider this lens to replace my cron 35mm asph with which I experience focus shift for distance below one meter. Thanks

I haven't noticed any in normal use, but also haven't tried testing properly with a tape measure and tripod...

This is so wonderful. I feel like you're a few minutes away from getting absolutely drenched.

I think it's worth noting that the lens maintains it's tonal characteristics even when stopped way down. As I've said before, really reminds of the ZM Biogon f/2 (favoring dark mid-tones)...but muuch smaller.

Wonderful halation...film or lens?
Thanks. It’s a bit of both. I’ve been able to get a similar look with this lens on different stocks…but…I think it’s mostly the double x here. It’ll glow!

Thanks Jim, I think I was already drenched when I took that photo during a break in the rain. Here is another view of the ominous clouds, looking toward Mt. Lemmon near Tuscon, AZ.

It's petty sharp and I like its unique bokeh rendering, but actually I don't like using it very much as it's so small and light it's fidgety. It doesn't balance well on the camera.

I've noticed this lens will do this on really bright highlights in super contrasty conditions. It can be quite beautiful.
