vuescan crop question

Just got the vuescan workign on my v700...so far so good but one question


can anyone tell me how to work the crop set up? I am doing 6x7 negs...I can get it to work fine one fame at a time but the multi frame/batch gets all messed up :bang:

I cannot tell you although I have been using Vuescan for 8 years. I have always edited the negs first and only scan selected frames one at a time. I am not even sure that you can do batch scanning with Vuescan. But then I have never tried to figure it out.

Set to Manual and multi frame.
Crop each frame individually.
As you move to your second frame, you won't see the crop of your first frame anymore, but it is "remembered".
After you have cropped all frames, either do batch scan them all or do list scan (you have to remember the frame numbers that you want/cropped).

I was able to get some sort of numbers assigened to the frames but cant seem to make it do it again!

Would the option to have Vuescan sequentially number frames (where you input the file name) work?

Got the numbers figured out...I needed to re set the preview window with the multi function on
