I just found this lens in the bay and I wonder if it might be worth buying:
W.Acall 3,5/35
Kyoei Japan
Does anybody know this lens? Any experience?
Thx,
Carlo
P.S.
Yes, I am new to RF's in general and to Contax in particular, sorry if my question is stupid.

Did you buy it? If not is there a link to it?
I've owned three. The one I have now is branded "Telesar", but it's same lens. It's a fine lens and I've shot a lot of film with it - even decent when used at F3.5. They were sold new in the 1960's, perhaps up till the early 70's. The market price today seems to range from $80-$220 USD depending on accessories. A typical selling price is about $150 USD. The accessories include a hood, a case, and a 35mm finder -- all uncommon especially the case. Sometimes the focus action on the Acall 35/3.5 seems a little tight, but I think this is by design. One virtue of the Acall is it is very compact.
