If only it was the LTM version. The price seems a bit on the high side for the Nikon S-mount version.

bought a lens from auction house a couple years ago, that had bad separation in the rear element group, was not visible with the diffused lighting in the photos on the auction page but was visible in bright light,

It's been there forever...I don't know where they got them from but KEH has had probably 4-5 LTM version in the past year or so. Cheapest I saw there was $1000 at BGN condition. Unless, people have been returning the same lens over and over

I saw that lens on theBay but wondered about wear or corrosion on the lens-locking arm (next-to-last photo)?
Further question: I've wondered about the LTM version: How would IQ compare to Summicron v4 (what I use now)? Sharper wide open?
