Roman triumphal arch in Saintes, 2000 years old but it was moved in the C19th because it was holding up traffic in the main street.

I deleted my previous image because I didn't have a high res version on hand.
A violin's back and top shape are referred to as their "arching".
It's not high art but I think it's visually interesting. This was shot with the help of a laser.
It's a 1731 Stradivari, by the way, with a typical for the period but not usual earlier, very broad, full arch.
