I'd guess the Anzac Bridge was one of the inspirations for this bridge and would also guess that the issue of snow and ice falling off the cables is much less common in Sydney? :)

Nice catch Robin. It's an old local train. TER Région Centre line? Don't see them around anymore. They were superceded by Alstom or Bombardier trains all over the country. Was it running on a special occasion? I'd love to know.

Photo taken 19.4.2015 on the occasion of the inaugural running of real trains on the Chemin de fer Charente-Limousine between Roumazières-Loubert and Confolens. The line was officially closed to freight traffic in 1988 but no passenger trains had run since 1940.
