W/NW bridges

Robin P - is this the same bridge that was in the film Les Demoiselles de Rochefort?
Yes, thanks for reminding me that I must get hold of a copy of the film!
We were there at the wrong time of day but if we'd waited until late afternoon there was a recreation of the scene in the film by modern day actors - Rochefort is not forgetting its heritage.....

First pic shot from the gap in the wall seen between the two bridges in the second pic. Second pic shot from atop the cliff seen in the first pic!

Bronica S2, Nikkor 50/3.5, Rollei Ortho 25 souped in Rodinal (1:50 for 6 min), scanned on crap Epson 4490. Levels adjusted in post as I did not nail the exposures quite right.

Taken a couple of years ago with a Medalist 1 on Provia 100F. The Port Mann was still under construction, and now the old bridge is being deconstructed. Staggering case of mega engineering! Peter

Footbridge across Jacob Fork River, South Mountains State Park, North Carolina. Camera placed on bridge deck rather than setting up the tripod yet again. (Cold, tired, late; and no room for anyone else to pass if I had set it up.)
