One from the archives. Fall of 1976 with 3f and 9cm Elmar. Footbridge across the Kabul river in Afghanistan. Was never able to make a decent print in the darkroom from this negative. Too much contrast to deal with graded paper. Scanning and Lightroom brings it close to what I remember.

The bridge that shut down the ferry. When this bridge opened the ferry stopped running on the same day. When it was paid off thr toll booths were removed. It was greeted as an eyesore. Now homes with "bridge views" command higher prices. Here it is, the Astoria - Megler Bridge. It closed the last gap in the Canada to Mexico US 101 highway.

I'm on a bridge support, in the middle of the river, with survey equipment/tools and two cameras))) and then it started raining, the height is 18.0 meters, the top of the support is bare. only with railings, nowhere to hide, there is no upper structure yet (well, there is no bridge))). The guys were in the middle in another support and did not know that it had started raining - I had finished an hour ago and was waiting for them with the boat - here they arrived, and to climb down - a vertical ladder - the brackets are wet, and I with the equipment - climbed for it in two trips

Studies of a bridge.
Over the years I have been collecting Topcon Topcor LTM lenses. I now have most of the 50mm lenses, barring the f/1.5 that I have never actually seen on sale but in past sales was far out of my price range. In the last year I was able to acquire a 3.5/90 and the lens used here, a 2.8/35. These shots are from my first test roll, Rollei RPX 25 in a Bessa R2. In my opinion this lens is well worth the asking price.
