While walking around the town of Cuenca, I was able to go into the old cathedral for the 1st time (it was under reconstruction since the 80s)
And found this chapel built by my ancestors around 1580.

San Anton of Padova is the saint to ask for finding things lost. Worked a couple of times in my case.

Obviously an Eastern Christian church, but which rite? Armenian? It doesn’t quite look Byzantine.

I was told by another member here that this is the St. Ephraim Syriac church - so, Assyrian? Maybe Persian? It was located down a narrow alley in the middle of Paris…

The other church in our parish. We move from one to the other every other month. Both contain frescoes and are also museums, open 24/7.


The central fresco of the triptych reflected on the piano lid. I sang in the choir until pneumonia affected my voice.
