Last year we started a new tradition: spending an hour in front of a camera, waiting for dad (me) to finally take the family christmas photo.
This year, as i was setting up "the studio" — our kitchen — using a nutcracker figure as a model, my boys appeared with various level of enthusiasm to check what i'm doing. Norti handled the situation patiently, although he took a few naps during the process. It still amazes me how these four legged creatures can become such an integral part of our life and family.
I have no experience setting up lighting or even posing people, as it's clearly visible from the above photos, but it turned to be great fun again, and while i'm happy about the final results, these behind-the-scenes photos are just as important to me.
White dogs in harsh light can be a challenge.
It's a happy dog and owner none the less!
