Are you in the pool with your Leica MP and Summicron, wading around, waiting for something to happen? If so, tip my hat at the dedication. That would be an extreme example of the adage, “the best camera is the one you have with you”. Nice shot:)

Yes, back in the day when Leica stuff was only expensive, not incredibly expensive. Probably wouldn't do it today. No longer have the camera, nor the lens. Still have the dog though.

Maybe I need to quit babying cameras. I did go into a pool once with a camera, but it was a Nikon N90 with the kit lens.
 
Or get a waterproof housing. Or a (now cheap!) Nikonos V. I use both solutions. But I’ve waded into water in Scottsdale and Fresno and Kaua’i, sometimes up to armpits, with my Sigma SDQ, Klasse S, A7. The pleasure is worth the risk and vice versa.
