I see you're one of the lucky ones to get the new Pentax 17! Glad to see a half frame thread here on W/NW, but for whatever it's worth, there's also a Half Frames / Subminiatures sub-forum here on the board.

Slight tangent, but it was @coelacanth's excellent images with the EL-Nikkor and BEOON combo that inspired me to get a similar setup for digitizing. It took me a while to find a BEOON kit, but once I found one, I haven't looked back. So, thanks, Sug! 👍

Slight tangent, but it was @coelacanth's excellent images with the EL-Nikkor and BEOON combo that inspired me to get a similar setup for digitizing. It took me a while to find a BEOON kit, but once I found one, I haven't looked back. So, thanks, Sug! 👍

Glad to hear it. It has been my go-to setup for years. I'm sure one can do more precise and controlled scanning with other tools and methods, but for casual scanning, this is really handy and quick.
