It's Trek Checkpoint ALR 5, which is their touring/adventure oriented gravel bike. I ride trails regularly, and I've done a few bikepacking as well. My last few bikes were semi-vintage/vintage racing geometry road bikes, and I am amazed by all the modern tech (tho the GRX600/800 mix is a mid-tier offering), stopping power of disc brakes and the whole gravel bike category.
dourbalistar,
I wish I could have multiple bikes, but those days are behind me unfortunately. I still have 2 motorcycles so there is that...
For my use (daily exercise, weekend outing, bikepacking, gravel riding for fun, etc), I find the Gravel Bike to be the perfect do-all category of bikes for me.
