built at the Marinette Shipyard in Marinette, Wisconsin, she's the Navy's first Littoral Combat Ship.

Here she is up on the skids just before a sideways launch into the Menominee River

Mr F, those are great. We used to have the ducks still being used in Seattle when I was a kid. We could never get the post war troops to take us in one.
