Sorry for the cell phone pic (and dusty camera). Today's camera/watch combo. Seiko Alpinist, XPro1 (cv 28/2), Rolleiflex 3.5C Xenotar

ahh beautiful Alpinist, another rolly sub homage...oval shape Mercedes hour hand, green dial w ojisan's favorite color; Gold outline...a hit watch from Seiko...wait, an in house 6r15 auto movement? performing -25 to +10 sec a day??!

my Military is even worse, -30 to +15 a day...it's a Seiko 7s26 cheaper movement

How on earth do you figure an alpinist is a Submariner homage? i mean, granted, they both have hands and a date window and go on the wrist, but the case shape, bezel, dial, numerals, indicies, date window, strap, all of it is different.

As a co-founder, and one of the moderators of the WUS Chinese mechanical watches forum, I have hundreds of these vintage Chinese watches made since late 1950's.:) The two shown were made in early 1960's and 1970's in Beijing and Shanghai respectively. I actively collected them for a few years since 2005 for historical documentation, and most gained value since then.

Mr. Zhang, Thank you for posting these watches...

China has been making watches for over 60 yrs (twice longer than Swatch), 'no respect' are from some/most western watch nuts...inside most of all those Swiss made watch at least 50% of their parts are made in China...

100% China

75% China 25% Japan, Made in China
my Casio Diver...

man, put in sapphire crystal, ceremic bezel, cut to 42mm, and the fish logo on top under 12 o'clock, you can sell them 2.5 time of today's price...

poor mans Parnis
my Reginald green diver, 40mm, the minute hand is a little narrower(thinner) then that of other sub, but i grew to like it...its w a Miota quartz movement (Citizen, Japan), at this time, i'm tired of automatics...
