few yrs back, not rich, know only casio and seiko, i want to have rolex, tag heuer, omega, tissot, only Swiss Made,
now i can afford them, knows a little bit more about watches...well, i am not buying them...

some watch elitist, do not amen to American watches, timex, invicta, stuhrling, shinola...(did you hear about the very first automatic watch from Shinola, 'Lake Erie', priced at $2.2K? it's made in Detroit from foreign; mostly China, parts)..

I think Stuhrling watches is very interesting, i was impressed by their bold design, i don't think it's a homage watch...

this' been w me for almost...24...hours...my 4th Sub homages, to get a feel of the real one before you know, spending US$10.5K (green dial, Taipei price) for the 'real' one :D

if i want to get real close to Rolex, Steinhart (Germany), Marc & Sons (Germany) should be my next buy...
Phoibos 007's quality is matching that of both Steinhart and Marc & Sons w 1/2 the price...so Phoibos next!

with my 4 'near' Sub...well, one is a near gmt...i'm really glad i got the one from Hyakuichi (left 2nd), a Kyoto, Japan watch Company,
Parnis is the best in the group, w sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel and an automatic movement...

I really like speedmaster pro’s aka moonwatch. A nice handwound movement in an iconic case all for the price of a decent leica!
