I was reading about John Brownlow using a 4x5 and strobe for street photography, and that spurred me get over my laziness/fear of shooting MF in the street. Here's two from a Rapid Omega 200.

Good for you, Rick! And that's not one of the smaller MF rigs either! Most of my RFF gallery is spontaneous people shots using medium format, though with the smaller 6x4.5 format. The main issue is to have it with you, right? 🙂

good stuff! Fuel for my eyes and motivation.

So when you go out shooting, how do you strap your camera? The RO has neckstrap lugs, but everytime I'd lift, the strap would interfere with the lens or plunger. I just stick with the grip and the strap on that.

i love how teenagers, esp. boys like to pose for the camera🙂

I have a funny shot of a young iraqui boy but it's on a 6x6 slide so can't scan it [yet]. He posed and then loolked at the Rolleiflex' screen to check out how the pic is. He was deeply disappointed: "But man, i'm not even in the shot!"

Technically perhaps not "street" but certainly outside
(Mamiya 6MF + 75mm and Mamiya 7ii + 80mm)
