A rattle can or two of Chevy engine block orange will fix that puppy right up.

An image from '010 with my YashicaMat. Sadly only 2 remain, but the motor, trans assembly from one will live on in another project vehicle. Peter

ps; Do you think yellow will factor into it?

Had to take a shot of my bike while the fall weather here was still nice.....

Fall SuperHawk by Vince.Lupo, on Flickr

Beautiful Vince. That's the bike I learned how to ride on back in 1973. Don't remember those big perforated discs around the front brakes though. Is that aftermarket, and what is the purpose, dissipation of brake heat?

Best,
-Tim

Sug: I had a '70 T120R, not much different. Know every bolt. Nice job! Looks like you have all the bits. Modern ignition/charging? Don't see the Z. diode.

Among the best bikes ever.

Thanks bigeye.

She's mostly stock but not "collector grade" stock. Yep the ignition is Boyer, and a few little bits aren't stock (like '68 spec front drum brake, chromed footrests etc, but I'm not a collector and I'll be modifying a few more bits (nothing crazy, but I just can't keep things stock. 😉)

That Trumpy looks like it would be fun in the dirt Dayrell. I'm guessing a mid-fifties 500 Tiger 100 motor in a BSA frame with BSA gearbox. The BSA gearchange was better under pressure than the Triumph in my experience. And presumably the frame is stronger too. Great special.
