Hit the Maryland backroads today, came across this -- thought it was a nice spot to park the bike.

Breaking in my new toy. After 10 years and 100 kMiles, I decided to trade in my trusty R1100S. First bike I ever owned with more than 2 cylinders

Lovely shot of the road ahead Roland. Looks like you needed to be gentle with the power of the six on that wet and shiny surface. My twin cylinder GS is riding through dry dust at the moment. It won't rain here for months.

Thanks, MCF. I've 500 miles on it, and you're right, I'm still very careful, the combo of weight and power keeps me cautious. Was below 0 (C) this morning, slippery.
Used to have a GS 15 years ago - my wife's favorite (we were dating then).

I'm glad you liked the Powell Design BMW, Margus, and I was aware that Fred looked a little liked the legendary Gaston when placed behind the bike from a low angle. My own R75/5 BMW is languishing in the shed at the moment. I will fix it soon! Picture of the R75/5 awaiting someone to ride it this afternoon done on 35/2.8 Sonnar/A7S Sony with some grain copied from my Tri-X film of the 80's for added character.
