W/NW : Motorcycles

I love the look of the Interceptor with the accessory touring seat of the Continental GT and bar end mirrors!

Yes well I soon discovered my broad shoulders block the mirrors and this photo is about three hours after I bought it and it certainly won't be staying standard.
As to the seat it probably will get changed but that depends whether or not my wife gets on the back. My Harley is a single seater chopper and this might well end up with the Continental GT seat or similar aftermarket.
I'll probably put shorter pipes on it and the mudguard extensions will be coming off this weekend. I'm also going to upgrade the suspension both ends but I usually like to put a couple of thousand km under my belt first to really get a feel as to how I want to change things.
This is just the start and I'm already very impressed by the stock bike.

A lot of times when I take pictures of motorcycles flying past me I don't know what I've got until I get home and look at the picture on my PC. Yesterday when I got home and looked at this one my first reaction was "hey, it's a girl" and my second reaction was "what the hell is a Thunder motorcycle". It turns out that "Thunder Motorcycles" is a brand of motorcycles; first time I've heard of it. This is their website.

This is a two year old Motorcycle company, a joint venture of Japanese and Chinese manufacturer, with the Chinese/ Japanese Kanji logo;

雷 ( Thunder ),
(No Japanese motorcycle co; Honda 本田, Yamaha 山葉, Kawasaki 川崎, Suzuki 鈴木 used Kanji or Chinese Character as their logo...)

big Thanks to Mike!

love to get one! ( allocating my M11-D fund, with US$1,500 change! )
