Jerome Arizona. The guy is Don Robertson. He owns a tourist attraction called 'Lost Mine'. Actually, the 'mine' is just a means for him to collect all the old vehicles he has on display. He's quite a guy. I have tons of shots of his place and him. I get down to Tucson quite often but have never made it to Bisbee.

John E--really amazing! How on earth did he keep the engine cool? You gotta have some good airflow across the fins--maybe that was why it was number 1--and only---?

It was a one-off built by an engineer, Leonard Kanner, in his garage from surplus military parts and thus #1. The tractor has a hydraulicly driven fan to cool the engine. Everything on it seems to be hydraulic drive.
