Drinking Saint Emilion in such a glass is ... nekulturny. The glasses in post #343 would have been much more appropriate.

Never turn down a glass of wine..... The bottle was a gift from the Vrbo owner after an afternoon thunderstorm flooded the place. The glass was the only style in the apartment.... kultur aside.... ;) it was still appreciated.

Shen Hao HZX45 field camera, Rodenstock APO Sironar N 150mm lens. Probably FP4.

Mark, I had to google "Shen Hao HZX45 field camera" because I had no idea what it was. You are full of surprises, you are obviously way deeper into the art of photography than I am. My hat's off to you.

All the best,
Mike

Thanks, Mike. This photo was taken quite a while ago. I don't use this type of camera any more (I still have a few film cameras, but don't pick them up often).

Using a large format camera was quite an experience and it taught me a lot. I think the GFX medium format digitals are on a par with the quality I could get from 4x5 film without the bulk and inconvenience, but both are probably overkill unless you want make huge prints. I do still miss camera movements though.

Best,
Mark
