We went to see the sunrise in the Monument Valley. The local driver/guide was very well prepared - I think they have a lot of tourists like me. I only had a very small tripod (I travelled light) so he gave me a decent tripod. He was also very instructive as to where are the good “positions” for scenic shots 🙂 And he nailed the timing of the sunrise. Not my type of shot, but out of respect for hard working Navajo guides I post those rocks (Rolleiflex 2.8D, Kodak Portra 160):
Mine is at sea level, Roberts Bay on Vancouver Island. There's the remains of an old dock sticking out of the water making a Pi sign. It makes a good photo pun (the worst kind) Not pie in the sky, but Pi in the sea........ ;-)
