One of my preferred angles, so I've got quite a lot. Here's a few.

This is a long way above Lynn, when I was very surprised to see sand-covered suburbs near Cairo in Egypt out of the plane window, as I thought we'd fly more east after leaving Athens in 2017 to come back to Australia.

Doug: I really like this one. Besides the overall graphic which syncs up with the angle, there is the social aspect of the man resting while the woman works as well as the incredible display of all the local produce for sale. Also, there is valid reason for this photo to be in color and it is just not a coincidence.

The mister nurses his coffee while the missus handles sales at the mall. Kahului, Maui, Hawaii.

Gibara, Cuba - shot from the window of a second floor room at hotel Ordono. This photo was made six years ago. I have seen this couple several times again when I am back in Gibara, always creating a warm feeling of the constant of being a in a familiar place and they are doing well.

Hi Doug,
I see you survived the Hana Highway.
I became car sick at Keanae (it was summer 2007) although I was driving myself and gave up returning to the Russian village (near Paia) where I was renting a house
Also I made the biggest error of my photo career as I took too little film with me and I was out of film when I reached Keanae (a wonderful place where, besides, you can have the best taro in the world).
I still get mad at that!

Damn!
I am mistaken!
Kahakuloa is not on the Hana!
I got in error seeing that winding road in your photo!
Sorry about that!

Bob thanks very much for your thoughtful comment. Probably a cliché but in these small market setups I like to catch the moment of sale; that is, when the money and product are exchanged. Also, there is usually a nice community feeling in the situation.

Hi Paul, I see in your later post you caught your location error! More thickly forested around the Keanae - Hana side, maybe tradewinds bringing more moisture. Car-sick territory for sure, very distressing. And I was thinking "how much worse can the road get at this point?" Haha.

I've been down on the Keanae Peninsula only once, in Fall of 1981 shooting B&W in a Pentax 6x7 (recently bought used). Very stormy at that time, dramatic surf. Def not good to run out of film!
