A famous photo by Dutch photographer/cinematographer Johan van der Keuken. Copied in the Hague Photo Museum. I like the reflection in the glass of the display cabinet in the front.
The grain is awful, the result of B&W conversion of a generic brand color negative. One of the first photos shot with my new (to me) Leica IIIb/non-coated Summitar combination.
These are pictures of an exhibition, "Sudarios", by Colombian photographer Erika Diettes, in Sydney, May/June 2014. I have never before seen such a powerful and distressing exhibition: the photographs are of victims of psychological torture, who were forced to witness massacres as loved ones and family were put to death, and were then released alive as witnesses. They are printed on silk, resembling the fabric used to make shrouds.
