These are fabulous! The color is so brilliant yet natural. I got to shoot some of this in the spring. Who could miss Kodachrome shooting Velvia 50? I think this looks way better IMO.

Wow, my lust for the Fuji X100 is going away.

Actually, I just purchased a Contax Aria & RX and some lenses because of this film. I've spent my X100 money on new film cameras and Velvia 50/100 and Ektar are the only films to touch these cameras. What a wonderful film... even for portraits.. amazing shots all.

Velvia was actually the film that helped me decide that I'm completely through with shooting colour film. Slide film, anyway. It's totally obsolete to me, and this is kind of huge coming from someone who still hasn't bought a digital camera (like, not even a p&s).

Just to be contrary. ;)

Ship Ektar 100 and Velvia 100, they're both crap. Velvia 50 is the only one worth it.

The original is a huge JPG on Flickr. What I like about this, besides the crazy colors, is that on many of the reflective surfaces you have images of the park. A good example is on the nose, cheeks and eyes. So, the image is taking a picture of the environment.
