W/NW what are you reading right now?

Martin John by Anakana Schofield.
A dark, humorous and uncomfortable novel circuiting through the minds, motivations, and preoccupations of a character who is a sexual deviant, it is not a comfortable read but a rewarding different take on a sensitive subject.

"Hero", a very readable biography of T.E.Lawrence by Michael Korda and The "Labours of Hercules", some Poirot short stories from 1948 by Agatha Christie. I usually have two or three on the go. Strangely, although my memory is pretty hopeless now I can always pick up a book after a month away and remember where I was in the story when I left off.

I don´t know how often I have read Rendezvous with Rama and it gets me every time! (Imagine a movie by Kubrick!)
From what I understand Denis Villeneuve (Director of Dune 1 & 2, Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival) is working on an adaptation some time after finishing Dune 3. I'm looking forward to it if it's true.

I'm currently reading Children of Strife by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Book 4 in a series of hard sci-fi books that I'm really enjoying as well.
