I go through this process each year on Flickr, choosing a single image to submit to the "Your Best Shot [year]" group. Not because there's any real benefit, but because it's a mostly fun, and sometimes frustrating, exercise.
Maybe I should do this here, limiting myself to RF photos only. That might be quite fun.

In his book
Photography Q&A, Zack Arias endorses the idea of re-doing your portfolio (or your "look book") from first principles, every year - going back through all of your archives, looking only at raw (or SOOC) images without paying attention to how you would post-process them, and re-building your portfolio with as few preconceptions as possible. I'm not sure I'm quite up for that though!
So here we go... a few faves, and reasons for choosing:
1. Spent some time shooting quiet moments around the lab... and my first foray into Ilford XP2 Super, which I find I like.

2. I spent a lot of time exploring old graveyards this year... many of these, but the sadness of this completely collapsed cross appealed to me.

3. This may be a wee bit silly, but it appeals to me. First roll through a Yashica Lynx 5000, and first foray into long-expired film.

4. Another from that roll. Grainy as heck, but I do like the flare.

5. I don't take enough photographs of people, but sometimes I need evidence when someone snaffles my DSLR. And this year my daughter began to show an interest in taking photos - and seriously kicked my butt on a few occasions when we both shot the same subjects!
