I've been shooing the new Walgreens branded Fuji 200 and 400 off and on since last summer, when we did verify it was indeed Fuji, and when it is actually cheaper than the Fuji branded stuff. In many cases the Fuji branded 200 and 400 is cheaper at Target' than the Walgreens brand is at Walgreens.
Anyway, until this past week I had never seen any 800 speed "Japan" Walgreens film. I did find it, try it, and I'm happy to report that, when comparing the negative edges to that of Fuji branded 800, it is most definitely the same Fuji 800 I've grown to know and love.
The photos confirm it too. It's smooth and well-behaved.
