Received a new Collapsible 50mm FSU lens today. Was kinda itching to get out and try it, so my son Jacob and I took a walk through the Swamp near our house. This swamp borders what is left of the Chemung Canal that feeds into Seneca Lake. The swamp is fed by a multitude of waterfalls from the far hill. We walked down the clearing where the railroad tracks used to be. It is now part of the Finger Lakes Trail. I think they are going to pave it. The film was mitsubishi 100. I did not keep track of exposure except for the one of my son was wide open.

The Industars totaly come to life with a polarizer, ive got to the point where i cant be out with out one. Dramatic difference.

The Industars are nice little Tessar clones aren't they? Very nice work. I do hope your son was using that camera around his neck too :) If you don't mind my asking, where is this swamp located?

Thank you for sharing these.

William

The swamp is in between Watkins Glen and Montour Falls NY. If you look at a map of NY, Watkins Glen is at the southern tip of Seneca Lake.
He was using the camera! He does pretty good.

Cool. Just took a look on Google Maps ;) Glad to hear he's shooting too. I really gotta get that Lynx 14 repaired for when my son is just a bit older...
