Oh well, George. I think I've been "George S." around these forums for about 10-15 years by now. I added the "S." because there already was a "George" on the Olympus forum.... You could always count the Georges and be "George the IV" or something...

I'll PM you his and my addresses. I'm afraid there's no way not to send at least _some_ cash (check). People are sending him film directly to his address, people are sending film thru my address, and we already have a decent cash figure sent to my PayPal account.

I may take the suggestion to make a B&H film order, but I have to see how many rolls come in both to me and him directly, and how many I want to order from B&H, all together, I wouldn't want to inundate him with say, 100 rolls of film all with similar expiration dates. Maybe send film, _some_ money in a check, and maybe a gift card to one of our spomsors, I dunno, the brain is working overtime. Anyway, we're not at the point where there's an overabundance of anything yet, neither film nor cash, I'll have to see what totals we wind up with. It's still early in the process.

All good ideas George. Another consideration might be to hold the balance and send more later...again just a thought (and one without the benefit of a full ration of morning coffee yet 🙂).

Hey all,
Just wanted to give a reminder to anyone who's sending film to me to forward to Vladimir. The first donations of film arrived at my home today. I'm shooting for the end of next week, Friday the 17th or Monday the 20th, to send the package out to Vladimir. I think that should give enough time for film to arrive here, at least if sent from North America. If anything arrives later than that, of course I'll send it in another shipment. Thanks to everyone again,

Does he do his own B&W development? Would he be interested in chemicals or developing tanks & reels or a bulk film loader?

I haven't heard anything from him to indicate that.
Why not try and email him? It's not like we're talking behind his back here, he does read these threads....and also bear in mind you'd have to ship whatever to Serbia....may cost a few $$ ... or dinars......
