There are NO camera shops around here who deal with older cameras and my Argus needs some tender loving care. It's the downside to living in Iowa and in a small town to boot. I know that someone mentioned when I was getting it that they would do one for me, but I can't remember who it is at the moment and I'm itching to use the thing.
 
Sorry, Stephanie. I was going to suggest DAG Camera, but then I read "Argus". No idea. Good luck. I hope you get an answer. Hopefully it would be the same people who would CLA my Franka?

Stephanie, there's a dealer on ebay named Juergen, ebay name is Certo6. He CLA's (then sells) all sorts of rangefinders and classic folders. You might try contacting him. He's located in Pennsylvania.

Busy busy busy. Lots of things to do. I've also been really sick lately and trying to figure out what's making me ill. Not sure yet. I generally spend every waking moment that I can with my boyfriend lately.

I'm sorry to hear that. :( I hope you're OK. You mentioned once you thought you might be pregnant. Did that turn out not to be the case? (Pardon me for prying.)
 
As far as we know, I'm not pregnant. However, that's as far as we know and after one test taken a bit before it should have been taken. In another couple of weeks I'm going to take another one to make sure. If I am, I'm going to have to put off doing any type of photographic purchasing until the baby is born and we're settled into a decent monetary routine.
