It is similar to those they have build in Moscow. Some of engineers at TVP (television Polska), called it Yousif Present.

I was there this summer, saw the "Pekin" tower everyday. Even though it is a city with fewer features, I definitely enjoyed living there, and I wouldn't mind living there longer. It somehow reminds me my home city, which is also quite featureless.

It was really interesting to experience that Polish are a group of people that is so much more similar to Chinese, compared to west/north Europeans. I understood the locals there much easier than I do with Swedes. I guess it has something to do with the communism put on both countries.

This thread is growing fast and with some pictures to learn from.

People from Poland (even if it is small country) are everywhere. So are Chinese. It means both are adaptive. Even with Ikea and Abba, I prefer Polish and Chinese food stores in GTA and nearby.

Warsaw is great unless you come in winter, as all places up north it's dark and depressive.

One thing is the communism and the russian influence (we had them since 18th century) but I think the cultural similarities are much older and dates back to Mongolian Empire.
