Love those 28mm photos! I love my GR and its focal length, but I find sometimes I am in and out of "thinking" in 28mm. When I'm out of it, I can't seem to frame gracefully, but when I'm "in" I get really excited with the compositions that are possible.

GR is awesome!
I am absolutely out of proper using 50mm lens.
40mm is my fake 50mm
28 is easy. All you have to do, is to be as close as possible.
21 seems to be even easier;))

Majki, do you soup all your Ilford films in Rodinal? Do you ever use Kodak films?

Erik.

Hello Erik!
I'm not interested in bnw kodak films.
I don't like their pricing policy very much.
Trix is too expensive, too fashionable, and their marketing is "too loud", for me.
I can leave ilford for foma;)

Rodinal, and ddx are fine for me, but i would like to try others developers. Do you think about any?

Actually I am surprised how fine your grain is. I stopped using HP5 because of the grain. You say it is developed in Rodinal. Not a fine grain developer. How do you do this? Maybe HP5 is changed recently.

I always use Tmax400 and develope it in Ilford Perceptol. Should be the finest grain @400asa. (1 part perceptol, 2 parts water and 10 minutes @ 20 degrees C developing time).

Worst case. Asking me about developing:)
I absolutely brake every rules, I develope in one ddx portion around 40 negs.
My chemistry look like a puddle.
I don’t care about time progression.
10 minutes in first bath, 10 minutes in 40th.
My agitation looks like a breakdance, and is far from gentle.
All I care is temperature.
(But I know what it mean to boiled neg).

Modern chemistry is amazing. I think so;)

Could be that your way is the best way. It looks a bit like gambling. You have to be careful that fate doesn't turn against you, but as long as it goes well, it goes well.

Photography is my passion. But at the end, it's nothing more than couple of photos to lost.

Take care and thx for this conversation:)
I will try your developer!
