Warsaw Daily

Somehow, for some incomprehensible reason, I've missed this thread in the past. I'm stunned! This is extraordinary work, raw, challenging, and very human. It looks like I have my work cut out for me in reviewing these 50 pages. My hat is off to you!
Earlier today, I made a comment in another thread about the work of HCB, stating that, for a photographer, it helps to bang around a bit and get some experience under your belt. Your work most certainly supports that idea.
Thank you Retro-Grouch. This message means a lot to me. I created “warsaw daily” in 2018 as a tool to watch my progression, fascination and how I deal with photography. Thank you for taking so much time to look at my photos!

My conclusion after 6 years with the camera is the same as yours:
“It helps to bang around a bit and get some experience under your belt”.

Greetings!

Fantastic. Reminds me of Sklep z Kawa Pozegnanie z Afryka - is there one in Warsawa? I sat in one that is now, I think, long closed, in Klodzko, in Silesia, for most of a day, watching the rain, longer ago than I care to contemplate.
I think it was the first professional coffee shop with a premium selection of coffee in Poland! As far as I know, there is only one left in Warsaw in the Old Town.

Warsaw gallery weekend is four days of exhibitions in 43 galleries. Only two exhibitions were about photography as art.

Pictured with the drums, Zbigniew Libera in rehearsal.
Libera is a well-known name in Polish art. The world heard about him through it:

"Libera is best known for his artwork LEGO Concentration Camp, created in 1996.[4]The artwork, which was part of a series called "Corrective Appliances", is considered Libera's most controversial work due to its subject matter, as it depicted Nazi concentration camps, which were used by Nazi Germany to systemically exterminate Jews and other "undesirables" during the Holocaust.[4]" (Zbigniew Libera - Wikipedia)

Brings to mind the Lyle Lovett song "Don't touch my hat"

Chorus:
If it's her you want
I don't care about that
You can have my girl
But don't touch my hat

"Xpro3 and ISO6400 is a bad combination"

Bad combination? Can't agree if you mean "bad" is "bad" not "baaad".

I love the look of the look of these photos.
