Was it a good idea to post a poll about the closing of the Bob Shell thread?

Bob is a friend of mine. The fact that the judge went with the jury's recommendation and imposed ten TIMES the sentence recommended by the Commonwealth's own sentencing investigation (3 years max) suggests to me that there is a considerable element here of playing to the rednecks. I would be fairly surprised if he were not released fairly soon on appeal.

I also find it rather sad that trivial matters of indifferent cameras are jokingly considered more important than a girl's life and a man's foolishness.
