This process of finding a treasure trove of negatives that I haven't seen in 27 years is rather startling sometimes. Some shots I remember taking as I had done it a few hours ago. Others have faded in my memory.

This first pair is of my wife and I in Paris on our honeymoon in 1983. I don't recollect exactly where this was shot, but we came upon a young art student (I don't recollect whether he was from China or somewhere else) who was cutting perfect silhouettes free hand while using the street as his backlight. We were so young.

this roll was probably shot with my wife's Nikkormat, as I think the Leica was pretty much loaded with Agfachrome for the entire trip. We still have the camera though I think I've probably used more since we were married than Pam has and I probably have used in 25 years. Perhaps it needs some attention.
