I have a roll of Arista 100 EDU (Fomapan) in the Hexar AF, and gorgeous weather!

It’s a cold, blustery, dark-sky kind of day in northern Michigan. Figured I take my MP, loaded with Tri-X, and head off to one of the last street fairs of the season in a small town about 30 minutes away. Plus we can also enjoy the fall color (almost at it's peak) along the way.

I miss seeing fall colors so much here in Florida. I have to settle for the beaches.

In Bucharest we're still enjoying the last days of Indian Summer and I'm planning to take the family and a loaded Leica M6 TTL out to Herăstrău Park: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herăstrău_Park

It is weekend again!
I used my M8 with the Canon FD 17mm 4.0 SSC today. We took a drive to the beaches, just before sunset or maybe during sunset.

Oktoberfest!
Vacationing on the Hawaiian island Kauai. A mix of shopping and exploring, with a Leica M8 with 25 Biogon, and M240 with 35 & 75mm. Valleys, mountains, rivers, surf, rocks, other people. Friends will be flying in this weekend to stay in the same facility. That should be fun...

I'm in Georgia for some training. This afternoon I'm driving to Atlanta to photograph Chris Eldridge and Juilan Lage (stellar acoustic guitar players). I've known Chris since he was a little boy, his father is one of the founding members of the BlueGrass band "The Seldom Scene".

what?
I'll be re-arranging my basement "art gallery" of my photos. Switching frames, etc. Need a change of scenery down here.

I just replaced my camera bag with my "slow set" (Canon FD 17/4, Elmarit 135/2.8;M8/M9) with my "fast set" (Zeiss 85/1.4 50/1.4; Olympus E-P2, E-PL) for a walk in downtown Pensacola. Who knows what I will be encountering this weekend. My cameras will be ready ...

Just finished a project and am now contemplating what to do next. So far drawing a blank. So I'll work on editing, post-processing, and the endless process of moving the web site from Zenfolio to Squarespace. Gotta get that finished.
raid, I visited Pensacola years ago for a conference, and it struck me as a town with a lot of character. I always enjoy checking in on this thread, too.

I am loading a bunch of 4x5 FP4+ film for a trip to the Tall Grass Prairie area of Kansas. I'll be there several days, using a 4x5 pinhole camera - in essence a primitive environment captured with primitive technology. I'll also have a 2 1/4 pinhole, and a 6x12 pinhole. Since I don't know when I'll have a chance to get back there soon, I'm also taking my Mamiya 7II and my D800. I'm sure other gadgets will end up in the truck too, like my Spinner 360. My plan is to print the 4x5 pinholes as Vandyke Brown, Salt, or Albumen prints, at least until I come up with a better plan!! So my weekend plan thus far is just getting stuff ready to go!

Oktoberfest was wonderful. Two C41 rolls through my M4BP and 50 Summicron. Threw a Canon 35/1.8 LTM in my pocket at the last minute. Glad I did. Wonderful little lens! Both rolls were good with my exposure accuracy decreasing as the beers increased. I found a new favorite local beer: River Rat Kolsch. Two thumbs up!

Kolsch .... The name suggests that this beer was brewed in Cologne.
Did you manage to get any sharp images?

Blue skies, no wind, Fall color... nice for walks around the neighborhood. Carrying a Pentax K-3 with 43mm.
