Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

I noticed that you take color photos as you were taking B&W photos. You concentrate first on a strong composition, and then on the colors.

Yesterday I went to our greengrocer to buy fruits and vegetables as usually. But he told me that next week it will be the last one after that he will retire. He's in that shop since 25 years and we'll miss him, his vegetables and the small chatting we had.

So my wife and me went there in the afternoon to take portrait of him in his small shop. She shot her DSLR and I practiced my Polaroid.

Because next week we'll be in theAlps a few days I prepared my small photo bag: M7, 35mm cron, 75/2,5 CV and 12/5,6 CV + a few rolls of film+ yellow filter +ND filter.
Not sure if I'll shoot B&W or color, I'll decide when on location. Or maybe I'll only enjoy the view without taking photo!

Yes, I'm probably first drawn by graphics, shapes or light, and then color.

I'm trying to be more aware of color now.

I have a partial roll left of Neopan 1600 in the Canon AE1P. Will finish that off before returning back to work Tuesday.

Playing around with my old Busch Pressman 4X5 camera (Ilford FP4). Plus I’m testing out a Rollei 35 with a roll of Kodak XX-5222.

I should finish off a roll of 120 and develop two rolls plus one roll of 35mm today...

Update...just developed three rolls of 120 Acros 100...it's rinsing right now...

I took a roll of 220 film in the SWC yesterday at Destin Beach, Florida.
Today is Friday in the USA, and I am planning ahead for the weekend.
We had 74F as the high for a few days, but since last night, the temperatures are dropping. Tomorrow's low will be in the low 30'sF. This could lead to amazing sunrises and sunsets, with rich colors on our white beaches. It takes will power to leave the warm bed and to drive to the (cold) beach! Maybe ....

What are your plans for the weekend? Photography?

My kids all arrive today and tomorrow, so I'll be hanging with them. And it's below freezing again here, so nothing outdoors planned. When we're not feasting or otherwise enjoying each others' company, I'll likely be at the computer editing a new collection of street work.

I am planning to go out to photograph the incredible mess in my street in Bucharest: during the past year, construction companies have dug holes, filled them, asphalted them and dug them up again. Yesterday, I found they put an enormous heap of dirt in front of my main gate. I am curious whether or not this mayhem will make for some photos, or not.

Tomorrow, Saturday, I'm going to meet some friends for a photo walk over the Christmas Market in Marburg (Raid knows the town!).
I have been looking forward to that for weeks!

Spent too many hours in the office this week, so planning to take off to the Thames estuary and see what I can find: old industrial sites, bird sanctuaries, natural landscape.

Just back from a few days in the Alps and found the RF of my M7 is again out of alignment at infinity :bang:.
I left a few frames to be shot and I try to verify it at a close known distance.

I will drive over to the beach to take some photos before sunset today. I will actually use a tripod this time. I have not used a tripod in many years.

My 14 months young daughter will be on stage for her first time at the kindergarden's christmass show on Saturday.
I will carry both my
ZI ZM + Biogon 35f2 + HP5+ @400 and
Canon EOS 3 + 50f1.8 + Kodak Gold 200.
And I wish myself luck!

Close to zero degrees F here now, so all indoor work. I added a new gallery to the web site this weekend: Alone in the City.

And spent a embarrasing amount of time reading and watching X-Pro2 reviews.

It was -24 C (-11 F) this morning, I think we hardy Canadians have you beat. :) Still, the low temperature didn't deter me from grabbing my camera and trying to take some photos of the winter beauty.
