Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

I imagine hurricane shooting would make for some interesting results. I'm one of those who probably would have to be forced to evacuate.

The Midwest is calm, as usual. I finished two rolls of Tri-X this week, so I'll be scanning and editing. Likely not much shooting.

Since I started shooting film again, I've really enjoyed the process of spending time on a single contact sheet. It's sort of meditative. In my digital days, thirty-six images was nothing. Now I linger over a contact sheet for a week or more.

A bit of a chill day just me one of my boards and a x100, some strange looks, (52 still riding skateboards and normally shooting film, today digital),:D

Taking an early jump on the weekend...
Developing 7 rolls of film today...5 rolls of 35mm & 2 rolls of 120...
Working on the last two rolls of 35mm...

I am glad that you started this thread for this weekend, Sam.
My weekend is kinda unusual for me. I will tomorrow help one of my daughters collect 150 clams from the Gulf of Mexico for her science fair project. Then this is followed with driving her to the biology lab at UWF where two Professors will assist her in doing the experiment on cold tolerance for the clams. This may take several hours where I will either stand or sit on a stool, watching the experiment. Photography may get done on Sunday with the M240 and the 7Artisans lens.

What will you be up to?

Another wedding tomorrow. The daughter of a close friend. I'll use a mixture of digital and film cameras. Definitely the Leica M240 and my SX-70. Maybe my Rolleiflex and my old M3.

It has been a busy weekend for me, but not so much in photography. I did some research and I drove my girls to places they wanted to go to, such as several volleyball games and meeting with some professor.

How is your weekend going? I hope that you managed to relax.

Nobody doing anything photography related this weekend?

I just took a few pictures of what remains of an old house which was demolished in order to build a new one in my quarter. Nothing special.

And I worked in PS all the afternoon to print a few pages of a new dummy of a photo book I'm working on...

Happy Thanksgiving/
In the USA, it is Thanksgiving Day today. It is an extended weekend for us here.

What are you doing this weekend?

For us, it is a family affair, and we do a few extra things locally. I will actually do some photography too. The weather is just beautiful. and the Gulf of Mexico is waiting for us.

Hello Robert! Good luck with the printing.
I am relaxing at home so far.
I hope to do some photography tomorrow with my latest acquisition, a J-8 50/2 with 18 aperture blades. It was made by KMZ in 1952. I don't know who did the aperture blades.

Big change in the weather next week (winter!), so we're busy finishing up on outdoor projects. But, I did find time today to play with my new toy, a Canon IVSb2. Hope to finish the roll of TRi-X tomorrow.

Last full day on Maui, still rather stormy weather. Dinner tonight at Kimo's in Lahaina, hope to see a sunset. Tomorrow we fly back to the mainland. I have my M-D 262 with 35 Summilux and will take advantage of opportunities. But we have not moved around as much as usual due to Kay falling and breaking a hip the second day we were here, surgery that afternoon, using a walker since. After 3 weeks away, it will be good to get home and see if the cats still recognize us!

Thanks, Raid... getting better every day. Hiked quite a distance today, motivated by vanishing shopping time!

It is Saturday here, and Pensacola got "barely" some snow last night! It is a cold front that has hit the South of the USA. I may go out to see how beautiful the Gulf Of Mexico looks today.

What are you up to this weekend?

It was 24 degrees here this morning, so I am in my workroom cutting mats for two recent projects, and preparing new images to upload to my website.

It will be my Birthday tomorrow, so the only plan is to enjoy the day with wife and friends. Photo? yes, for the family series...
