Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

Getting ready to head out to a friend's house for two birthdays and one retirement...
I might take the Mamiya m645 and shoot some very informal portraits...

Yesterday, one roll at the Chicago Memorial Day parade with a new M4-P / 35mm. I actually didn't watch the parade, but really enjoyed wandering the staging area before it started.

Monday, probably another roll at a cookout with friends and family. Then I'll be processing my first film in over ten years. So looking forward to it.

Spent yesterday morning exploring Marymont Park in Richmond VA with group of folks for the local photo club
Headed up Maryland at 0500 this morning for some exploring with one of my favorite models.

We met with Robert and his wife in Siena yesterday, followed by a drive to Pisa. Of course, Dana and Lina took turn taking the typical "I am holding the leaning Tower" photos for each other.
Then, we drove together to Lucca where we had a nice walk within the old city which is surrounded by high walls. This was followed by a dinner at Nico's house with his wife and one of his daughters. It was a great Lucca RFF meeting, so to speak.

What are you up to this weekend?

Took a few photographs of some trains with my Nikon One Touch camera. Scanned a roll of Kodak Gold 100 film I finished off a couple of weeks ago with my Canon AV-1 & 50/1.8 lens. Got another roll to pick up & drop off.

Rainy day here, spent the afternoon scanning very old family photo for a project I'm working on. Some were from before worldwide war 2 . Interesting.

Just got my V500 Photo scanner, so I'm spending the weekend trying to learn how to scan and edit in PSE for photos on the web. Steep learning for an old man.

Went down to New York City, with my Nikon S3 and a Olympus E-PL1, they had the
yearly outdoor barbecue and other point's of interest.

I went to indulge on one of the most colorful events in NYC on Saturday :
The annual "Hare Krishna Parade" I will post some shots.
Glad I wasn't shooting film anymore, 800+ shots in about 4hrs, screened it already down to 150. Walking within the crowd always produces a bit of waste, as you can't always frame accurately and have people walking into your shot but it's always an exciting event to shoot. People are in a relaxed and joyful mood, not minding being photographed.
